<Poem>
夜宿烏牙寺，
舉手捫星辰。
不敢高聲語，
恐驚天上人。
<End Poem>
<Translation>
I spent the night
In the temple
On the mountain top.

It was so far
Above the earth
That it seemed

As though
By stretching out my hand
I could pluck the stars
From the sky.

I dared not even
Raise my voice in speech—
I feared
To alarm
The dwellers in the heavens.
